GS. Masashi Sugiyama hiện là Giám đốc Dự án Trí tuệ nhân tạo RIKEN (AIP) của chính phủ Nhật Bản và là Giáo sư tại Đại học Tokyo. Ông là tác giả của nhiều công trình nghiên cứu kinh điển và là diễn giả chính tại các hội nghị AI hàng đầu thế giới.
